Avalon Custom Homes

Laredo, Vanier Woods East 2012-2014

Avalon’s Custom Home division brought experience and out of the box thinking into the custom homes of Red Deer. They came in all shapes and sizes, feature everything a homeowner could possibly want, and are stunningly beautiful homes built to last for generations.

Custom homeowners worked closely with a new home planner who guided from a custom home design, to the interior trim and finishes. Each new custom project built with Avalon was a Holmes Approved Home, EnerGuide™ rated, and built with materials and technology mindful of the environment.


Clearview Ridge, 2014

This community consists of 155 row style townhomes on 8.25 acres. The exterior townhome elevations are some of the nicest in Red Deer. Each home in this community is enrolled in the Holmes Approved Program, run by Mike Holmes. All of the homes are Energuide™ rated and achieve a rating of 85, which is very high for any home.

Casablanca The Sequel

Casablanca The Sequel is another duplex community in the community of Ironstone, consisting of 36 homes with a mix of single and double attached garages. This community was built with a guaranteed minimum rating of Built Green Silver.


Adamson Avenue and Arthur Close, 2006

This very first Built Green™ development consists of 82 homes, each about 1,100 square feet with single attached garages, with some exceptions as a few lots allowed for a slightly larger home. This is the community where we really started to focus on energy efficient construction, minimizing air changes and maximizing Energuide™ ratings.

Averill Manors

Arnold and Amlee Close, 2004

Averill Manors in Aspen Ridge, just North of the Save On Foods on 22nd Street, is an 82 home freehold development consisting of 41 duplex buildings with single or double attached garages. These homes vary in size from 1,100 square feet up to almost 1,600 square feet, each with its own fenced rear yard. Access to the Save On Foods commercial area is by a paved walking path for day-to-day shopping needs.
